This decorative EggshellCeramic© bowl is handcrafted out of approx. 110 discarded eggshells. The wasted eggshells come from a variety of food related companies in The Netherlands. A part of the eggshells in this artwork are colored by us with a blend of madder root and biochar, two eco-friendly and fully biodegradable colourants. Every bowl we make is unique and therefore only 1 in stock.

This bowl can be composted at the end of its lifespan, it will add valuable nutrients to the soil. The material is strong and durable when it doesn’t get in contact with water.
